ABOUT CLARE

Clare is the creator and founder of State of Balance. Her intention was to create a platform to cultivate awareness, personal growth, healing and expansiveness.

Clare is a devoted Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation teacher whose gift is in bringing balance by bridging the world’s of Modern Science, Metaphysics & Spirituality. 

With a background in the medical industry and a passion for holistic wellbeing, she seeks to bring light and relatability to concepts that have been made to seem overcomplicated, unattainable or out of reach.

She is a Pilates instructor, Ayurvedic practitioner, Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture student dedicated to the evolution of wellness in a modern age, ensuring that as many people can find empowerment and enlightenment through being able to make informed choices minus the doubt and confusion.
Clare is here to share knowledge and wisdom, to connect, empower and educate.

 

 

CLARE’S STORY

Clare’s journey into health and wellness started to unfold about thirteen years ago after taking an interest in nutrition, naturopathy and herbal medicine.

With a connection to wellbeing and movement from a young age, Clare fell in love with the practise of Yoga at the age of seventeen, which quickly became the principle of her being. Seven years into her Yoga practice, Clare completed the first of her many yoga teacher trainings.

This quickly shifted into a huge career change from her previous background in the western medical healthcare industry into a holistic and wellness space.

Clare begun teaching Yoga and Pilates full-time, as she continued to study and enquire through her own practice. Constantly striving for more, developing her knowledge and expanding her mind. Clare now brings her teachings into practice in a relatable and educational way with her students and clients everyday. Clare has studied with various teachers and mentors all with extensive backgrounds leaving her knowledge and wisdom far beyond her years.

Clare draws her wisdom and philosophy from multiple lineages including; Hatha, Tantric, Kundalini, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine concepts, Indian Ayurvedic traditions, anatomical and myofascial training, in depth breath work and meditation.

Following Hinduism and Buddhism traditions, Clare is passionate about working with the energetic body from a healing perspective. Integrating the connection between mind, body, soul and spirit for optimal health, wellbeing and longevity.  

After studying traditional Chinese Meridian and Five Elemental Theory during her Yin Yoga training she developed a love and passion for the wisdom and traditions of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Clare is now currently studying Complementary Medicine with a Bachelor in Health Science, as she specialises in becoming a Chinese Medicine Doctor, Acupuncturist and Herbalist.
